How it all started...
Our History
Our church was begun in 1971 by about forty persons who desired an independent, Bible believing fellowship in the Whitehaven area of Memphis, TN. The church, originally known as Maranatha Bible Church, was located on Airways Blvd. In 1992 this property was purchased by the Airport Authority. The church subsequently moved its location to Mississippi on Malone Road in north DeSoto County, and changed its name to Grace Bible Church.
Our Organization
Grace Bible Church is led by Elders, who oversee spiritual matters, and Deacons, who attend to temporal necessities. One of our Elders, Brian Daniels, serves as Pastor. We are independent of any denominational hierarchy, recognizing Christ alone as our Head.
